Poor families should save more, says conservative think tank

The think tank, ResPublica says the Government should do more to encourage poor families to save. However, saving might be tough for poorer families. The CRFR report Life in low income families found that families in low income households reported not having enough money to meet everyday needs and that families already employ a range of management strategies to make their finances go further.
